I have seen alot of that data and do agree normally gay men were abused.
I used to think people were not born gay. I have come to change my mind, of course people are born with the sin of homosexuality, just like they are born with greed, and envy. We as parents know children have sin from the fall.
My brother turned out gay, he was not abused sexually. He always since he was a kid acted fruity, it was his nature due to the fall.
Of course just because you can be born that way does not make it ok.
This perspective does not contradict Orthodoxy, this is the result of the fall.
